Description: We have openings for a post-doctoral researcher position in the area of visual search and retrieval. The successful post-doctoral candidate will lead a research effort to develop models, algorithms and software implementations of these algorithms for the detection of anomalies in video data, search & retrieval in large video datasets. The candidate will supervise a team of graduate and undergraduate students in project development, will coordinate project demonstrations for the sponsors and will actively participate in future sponsored-research development.The successful candidate will hold a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. A background in algorithms, machine learning, and computer vision is desirable. The position is initially for 12 months, but is renewable given satisfactory performance.
