 Post-doctoral fellowship opportunity at U of Calgary, Canada  
AITF/ Eyes High Postdoctoral Fellowship 
Application Deadline: March 31, 2015 
Award Value: $70,000/year for two (2) years (progress assessment will be required for a second years renewal) 
 
Number:        Eight (awarded for the 2014 and 2015 competitions) 
Duration:        Two years 
Commencement of Award:        May 1, 2015 - September 30, 2015 
Eligibility:        For the 2014-2015 competition, applicants must have earned their PhD, MD or equivalent degree after 1 May 2012.  If degree is still pending, it must be completed before 30 September 2015. Research must focus on information and communications technology, nanotechnology, and/or omics (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics and regulomics). 
The Postdoctoral Fellow must carry out a program of independent research, present one or more departmental seminars for students and faculty, and contribute on an informal basis to other departmental activities. Postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to apply for awards from provincial, national or international agencies. However, a postdoctoral scholar cannot hold a full AITF/Eyes High Postdoctoral Fellowship with another award. All other conditions follow the University of Calgary postdoctoral policy and procedures, as approved by the Vice-President (Research).
