姿态不变人脸识别综述--A Comprehensive Survey on Pose-Invariant Face Recognition

Pose-Invariant Face Recognition (PIFR) is the primary stumbling block to realizing the full potential of face recognition as a passive biometric technology. In this survey, we review nearly all representative PIFR algorithms and classify them with systematic taxonomy. The motivations, strategies, pros/cons, relations, and performance of representative approaches are described and compared. Moreover, promising directions for future research are discussed.
